Paul E Meck

Paul E. Meck, 86, of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Alburtis, PA, died Friday, October 19, 2012 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Winifred (Boyer) Meck, who died in 2000.

Paul was a son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Elsie V. (Eck) Meck. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, Alburtis. Mr. Meck was a member of the former Pennsylvania State Guard Reserve, Alburtis. He also served his country as a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. Mr. Meck was employed part-time as an auction assistant at Alderfer Auction Company, Inc., Harleysville, PA, until his retirement in 2001.

He is survived by Daughter, Judith K. (Meck), wife of Robert E. Miller, Palm Bay, FL; Son, Scott P. Meck, Macungie; Sisters, Joyce E. (Meck), wife of Linford Bastian, Macungie, Annabelle F. (Meck), widow of Anthony Zibura, Allentown, Lucille J. (Meck), wife of Ernest E. Geist, Lakeland, FL, and a Brother, Willard D. Meck, Mertztown, PA. There are also 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a Brother, Carl Meck.

Funeral Services are Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment with military honors provided by Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton, will follow in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
