Patricia R Geisinger

Patricia Rae (Rahn) Geisinger, 79, of Maxatawny Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at home after a lengthy illness of heart and lung disease, with her family by her side.

Born in West Reading, on October 19, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Miller) Rahn. She attended Kutztown High School. For 61 years, she was married to Richard H. Geisinger, Sr. She loved being a full-time homemaker and when she wasnt cooking up a new dish, you could find her bird watching, collecting antiques or traveling with her husband. She was active with the Kutztown Area Historical Society, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.

In addition to her Husband, she is survived by her Daughter, Karen L. Geisinger wife of Billy Kerns, Clermont, Fla.; Son, Richard H., Jr. and his companion Sabrina R. (Muffley) Mull, Kutztown; Daughter, Brenda L. (Geisinger) wife of Steven M. Dark, Temple; Son, Gary A. husband of Michele L. (James) Geisinger, Hamburg and Son, Steven R. widower of Jane D. Kemp, Breinigsville. Other survivors include a Sister, Geraldine (Rahn) wife of Chester Moyer, Kutztown; 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and a close family friend Keith Berger. She was predeceased by a Son, Craig S. Geisinger in 2006 and a Daughter, Linda A. Geisinger in 1988.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. A funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 PM with Reverend David P. Peterson, Chaplain, Compassionate Care Hospice, officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
