Patricia A. "Pat" (Oswald) Miller, 78, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27, 2025. She was the wife of Glenroy A. Miller, whom she married on August 31, 1968.
Born in Mertztown, Patricia was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Betty E. (Isamoyer) Oswald and was a 1965 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton. Pat was employed as a secretary by AAA East Penn, Allentown, for over 15 years. Prior to that, she was employed in the same capacity by Tyler Pipe Industries, Macungie, for 22 years.
Pat was a faithful member of Zion's Union Church of Maxatawny. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years, playing bingo, sewing, reading and baking. Above all, Pat loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and would look forward to their yearly trips to Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Pat's warm spirit and gentle heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Along with her husband of nearly 57 years. Glenroy, Pat is survived by her two children, Ronald G., husband of Constance I. (Lessard) Miller of Macungie, and Lisa A. (Miller), wife of David M. Bartera of Emmaus; four grandchildren, Kahlee Miller, Kennedi Miller, Parker Bartera and Riley Bartera; two sisters, Nancy I. (Oswald), widow of Michael Taniser, Breinigsville and Peggy L. (Oswald), wife of Edward Morgan, Macungie; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to celebrate and honor Pat's life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Zion's Union Church of Maxatawny, 329 Church Rd, Kutztown, PA. Burial will follow in the adjoining Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church.
