Patricia Hilbert

Patricia A. (Hieter) Hilbert, 81, formerly of Longswamp Township, died peacefully Friday, December 19, 2025, in Mosser Nursing Home, where she was a guest three weeks. Patricia was the loving wife of Homer H. Hilbert, whom she married November 11, 1961. Born in Topton, Pat was a daughter of the late David A. and Lizzie Mae (Rauenzahn) Hieter. She was a member of Saint Peter's Union Church, Macungie.

Patricia was employed as a folder by the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, for over 20 years; then in the printing department at Day-Timer, East Texas, for ten years, until her retirement.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 64 years, Homer, and a son, David H., widower of Barbara Hilbert, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. There are three grandchildren: Meghan Hess; Zachary Hess; and Ameerah Gilyard. In addition to her parents, and daughter-in-law; Pat was predeceased by a daughter, Trisha M. (Hilbert) Gilyard, who died January 2017; and two sisters Beatrice M. (Hieter) Zentner; Marlene D. (Hieter) Bieber; and a brother Kermit D. Hieter.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Patricia's life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peter's Church Road, Macungie, PA, with The Rev. Dr. Paul Sorcek, officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Saint Peter's Union Chuch Cemetery. Reletives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the church.
