Patricia A. Morse

Patricia A. Morse, 74, of Kutztown, died Thursday, April 20. 2023, in Eagleview Landing, Exton, where she was a resident since December 2021.  Patricia was the widow of Richard W. Morse who died March 16, 2003.  Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Roy E. and Dorothy M. (Gaydos) Feussner.  She was a member of Saint Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown; and Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown.

Pat attended Saint Mary's Parochial School, Freeland, and graduated from Saint Ann's Catholic High School, Freeland, Class of 1966.  Patricia went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Kutztown University, Kutztown, in 1970.  Patricia also earned a Master's in Education from East Stroudsburg University, East Stroudsburg.

Pat was employed as a secondary US History teacher in the Muhlenberg School District, for over 40 years, until her retirement.  She also chaired the Social Studies Department for a number of years.  Patsy also was an ancient history teacher and a driver education teacher during her tenure at Muhlenberg.

Patricia was a member of the Muhlenberg Area School Retirees, she enjoyed reading, bird watching, and completing crossword puzzles.  Pat volunteered for the Ready-Set-Read program at Muhlenberg Elementary Center.  Patsy enjoyed going to church and spending time with friends, family and her cockapoos, Buffy and Emmy.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Meredith L. (Morse) Carrier, Ontelaunee Township; and a son, Jonathan R., husband of Megan E. (Keller) Morse, Chester Springs, Chester County.  Other survivors include four grandchildren: Benjamin L. Carrier, Elizabeth G. Carrier, Ava E. Morse, and Ella R. Morse.  There are two brothers: John R. "Jack" , husband of Carol (Blessing) Feussner, Mount Pleasant, SC, and Ronald A. Feussner, Freeland, Luzerne County.  Sister-in-law, Mary Ellen (Husovich) Feussner, widow of predeceased brother, Gregory G. Feussner, Freeland.

There will be a viewing Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., at Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown.  A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 19 S. Hunter Highway, Drums, PA 18222.  Encryptment will take place in Calvary Mausoleum.
