Patricia A Hertzog

Patricia A. (Miller) Hertzog, 74, of Kutztown, died Friday, October 9, 2015 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where she was a patient since September 26, 2015. She was the wife of Noel P. Hertzog, whom she was most recently married to since March 17, 2007.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Geist) Miller. Patricia was a member of The Church on the Hill, Kutztown. Pat was a former business owner, first as a partner in B & H Answering Service, Kutztown, then assuming full ownership of the business as Bees Answering Service, Kutztown, for many years. She then worked in data entry for both The Lutheran Home at Topton and Kutztown Auto Company until her retirement in 2007.

She is survived by Husband, Noel; Daughter, Donna M. (Hertzog) wife of Arlan D. Bechtel, Fleetwood; Son, Craig A. husband of Diane (Bryant) Hertzog, Fleetwood. Other survivors include, Twin Sisters, Jean (Miller) widow of Yale Frederic, Kutztown and Joyce (Miller) widow of Carl DeLong, a resident at The Lutheran Home at Topton; and a Brother, Robert, Jr., husband of Cindy Miller, Pittsburgh. There are also 10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Hertzog was predeceased by 4 Sons, Dallas H. Hertzog, Kerry W. Hertzog, Ricky Hertzog and Kevin Hertzog; a Granddaughter, Amanda Hertzog; and a Sister, Vicky Miller, during childhood.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 7:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with her pastor, Reverend Stephen L. Winters, officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
