Patricia A. Geist

Patricia A. (Geist) Geist, 70, of District Township, died peacefully Thursday, September 16, 2021, in her home, surrounded by her family.  Her long-time companion, Larry M. Bender, died March 31, 2005.  Born in Alburtis, Patricia was a daughter of the late Homer H. and  Clara M. (Shoemaker) Geist.  She was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis.

Pat worked as a meat wrapper at Radcliffe's Great Value, Mertztown, from 1968 until her retirement after 40 plus years of dedicated employment.

Pat was a fan of NASCAR.  She also enjoyed knitting and gifting baby blankets to friends and family.

SURVIVORS: Patricia is survived by a son, Bryan M. Geist, husband of Alicia R. Zimmerman, Lyon Station; daughter-in-law: Jodi D. (Spayd) Geist, Fleetwood, widow of predeceased son Kevin R. Geist, who died May 13, 2019. There are six grandchildren, John; Aydin; and Bodin Geist; Jacob; Delaney; and Nathan Geist.  There are also nieces and nephews: Donna (Geist) Heffner; Gerald Geist, Jr.; William Geist; Greg Geist; and Donald Geist.  In addition to her companion, Larry Bender, parents, and son, Patricia was predeceased by brothers, Gerald A. Geist and Leroy Geist.

SERVICES: A memorial service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Mary Ann Hamm, officiating. Inurment in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
