Oliver P Miller

Oliver P. Miller, Jr., 84, of State Street, (Longswamp Township) Alburtis, PA, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where he had been a patient since May 19 ^th . He was the husband of the late Geraldine M. (Hess) Miller who died on November 12, 2000.

Born in Emmaus, PA, he was the son of the late Oliver P. Miller, Sr. and the late Stella (Reichert) Miller. He was a production technician at Mack Trucks from 1965 until his retirement in 1983. Prior to that he was a moulder at the former Emmaus Foundry from 1946 to 1965. He was a member of the Mercantile Club, Emmaus, and the Gilbertsville Fire Company, Gilbertsville. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown.

He is survived by Daughters, Delores A. (Miller) Hellwig, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), Pat L. (Miller) Conrad, Alburtis, Sherry D. (Miller) Croll, Mertztown (Longswmap Twp.); 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Sons, Dennis A. Miller in 1987 and Randy D. Miller in 1998.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
