Norman L Oswald

Norman L. Oswald, Sr., 52, of Mertztown, died on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Jennifer P. (Lynch) Oswald, whom he married on July 10, 2014.

Born in Born in Allentown, Norman was a son of the late Norman R. Oswald and Elda L. (Merkel) Oswald.

In addition to his Wife, Jennifer, Norman is survived by a Son, Norman L. Oswald, Jr., and a Daughter, Brittney Oswald, both of Tamaqua; Sisters, Debbie Kline, companion of James Hageter, Ann Bleiler, wife of Michael Bleiler, and Sue Eck, companion of Robert Smith. He is also survived by 2 Granddaughters, Jayden and Kayli and several nieces and nephews. Norman was predeceased by his Parents; a Brother, Earl Leibensperger; and a Nephew, Kyle Bleiler.

S ervices and inurnment will be private in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown.

The family requests contributions be made in Norman's memory to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078, for further research dedicated to advancing quality of life and discovering cures for those with spinal cord injuries. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
