Ms. Nora Z. Martin

Nora Z. Martin, 76, formerly of Fleetwood, died peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in the Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata, where she was a resident for two years. Born on December 14, 1947, Nora was a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Mary Ann (Zimmerman) Martin, and was a member of Walnuttown Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Nora is survived by four sisters, Anna Ruth (Martin), widow of Allen Burkholder, Newmanstown, PA, Frances Z. (Martin), wife of Paul Shirk, Cayuga, NY, Arlene Z. (Martin), wife of Elmer Burkholder, Dorchester, WI, Grace Z. (Martin), wife of Richard Snyder, Port Byron, NY; five brothers, Lester Z., husband of Evelyn (Ramer) Martin, New Paris, IN, Titus Z., husband of Alma (Martin) Martin, Denver, PA, Luke Z., husband of Mary (Rice) Martin, Ernest Z., husband of Louella (Brubacher) Martin, both of Fleetwood, PA, and Irvin Z., husband of Thelma (Snyder) Martin, Kutztown, PA; brother-in-law, James Feeg, widower of predeceased sister, Helen Z. (Martin) Feeg, Robesonia, PA; brother-in-law, Melvin Hoover, widower of predeceased sister, Mary Ella (Martin) Hoover, Stevens, PA; brother-in-law, Linford Snyder, husband of Audrey (Zimmerman) Snyder and widower of predeceased sister, Vera Z. (Martin) Snyder, Lebanon, PA; sister-in-law, Mattie (Burkholder) Martin, widow of predeceased brother, Wilmer Z. Martin, Seneca Falls, NY; and 103 nieces and nephews. Nora was also predeceased by brother Harvey Z. Martin and sister-in-law, Orpha (Musser) Martin.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Walnuttown Mennonite Church, 1219 Pleasant Hill Road, Fleetwood. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the church.
