Nevin H Moyer

Nevin H. “Romeo” Moyer, 73, of Maxatawny Township, died Friday, April 8, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township where he was a patient since March 30, 2011. He was the widower of Helen M. (Danner) Moyer who died December 7, 2007.

Born in Longswamp Township, he was a son of the late Harvey R. and Eva S. (Reese) Moyer. He was first employed as a truck driver for the former Jesse Kroninger Trucking, Dryville from 1961 to 1977 and then worked as a supervisor in the Wire Division of East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station from 1977 until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Fogelsville Fire Company, Strausstown Rod & Gun Club and Mertztown Rod & Gun Club.

He is survived by Sons, Curtis L. husband of Michelle F. (Bartos) Moyer, Center Valley, William C. Moyer and Robert C. Moyer, both of Weisenberg Township, and Leon E. husband of Carol A. (Burdick) Moyer, Emmaus. Other survivors include Sisters, Shirley M. (Moyer) wife of Paul Edleman, Macungie, Pauline E. (Moyer) Strauss, Hellertown, Cindy L. (Moyer) wife of Gary Hillegass, Hellertown, Sarah M. (Moyer) wife of Samuel Unger, Orefield and Betty J. (Moyer) Rothrock, Wescosville; Brothers, David C. husband of Katherine (Kline) Moyer and George J. husband of Beth Moyer, both of Alburtis. There are also Grandsons, Kyle L. , Justin A. and Ryan R. Moyer. He was predeceased by a Sister, Susan A. Moyer and Brothers, John C., Charles W. and Raymond P. Moyer.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
