Nevin A Smith

Nevin A. Smith, 76, of Greenwich Township, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Weston Senior Living Center, Emmaus, where he was a resident for six months. He was the widower of Sandra Grace (Lenhart) Smith, who died on April 20, 2015.

Born in Greenwich Township, he was a son of the late Elmer W. and Sadie (Dietrich) Smith. Nevin was a 1957 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, where he later was employed as a school bus driver for 17 years. He was also a self-employed farmer in Greenwich Township for over 50 years.

He is survived by Daughters, Donna (Smith), wife of Keith Redline, Rockland Township, Janice Smith, and Karen Smith, both of Kutztown; Son, Barry Smith, Kutztown; 4 Grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Amanda (Smith) Heiter, Allyson Smith, and Dashia Toure; and 3 Great Granddaughters, Carli Smith, Dana and Leah Heiter. Nevin was predeceased by a Son, Carl Smith who died in 1998.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment will follow in Friedens Cemetery, Stony Run.  Relatives and friends may call on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
