Naomi M Stern

Naomi M. (Merkel) Stern, 90, formerly of Richmond Township died Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was admitted from The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Harold L. Stern.

Born in Virginville, she was a daughter of the late Howard H. and Annie (Miller) Merkel. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Sisters, Elda M. (Merkel) Hassel, Esther (Merkel) Boyer, Irene (Merkel) Young and Anna (Merkel) Scheuring. She was also predeceased by a Brother, Wayne Merkel.

Funeral Services are Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Zions Cemetery of Perry Township. Friends may call Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to Benevolent Care Fund of The Lutheran Home at Topton, Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries, 798 Hausman Rd, Suite 300, Allentown, PA 18104. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
