Nancy J. (Moll) DeLong, 70, of Mertztown, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of James W. DeLong, whom she married September 9, 1967.

Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Carrie M. (Reinert) Moll. Mrs. DeLong was a member of Church of The Good Shepherd U.C.C., Alburtis. She was employed as a candy maker at Premise Maid Candies, Breinigsville, for over ten years, retiring in 2012. Prior to that, she worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Royal Manufacturing Co. and as a circuit board assembler at the former AT&C, both of Alburtis. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed baking, cooking, and taking pride in her home. She also loved to go "junking" at local flea markets and yard sales.

She is survived by Husband of 48 years, James; Daughter, Lisa S. (DeLong), wife of Mark L. Kieke, Douglassville; 2 Granddaughters, Katelyn A. Kieke and Jenna N. Kieke; 3 Brothers, John R., husband of Fern Moll, Carl L., husband of Joyce Moll and Stanley D., husband of Mabel Moll, all of Mertztown.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment will follow in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Thursday morning from 10:00 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made in Nancy's memory to The American Cancer Society, c/o Relay for Life of Daniel Boone, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
