Mrs. Nancy A. Hausman

Nancy A. (Gearhart) Hausman, R.N., 89, of Fleetwood and formerly of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024, in her residence. She was the widow of William H. Hausman, who died July 17, 2008. They were married on March 8, 1961.

Born in Reading, PA, Nancy was a daughter of the late Leon and Madeline (Deysher) Gearhart. She was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and Reading Hospital School of Nursing, where she became a Registered Nurse. Following nursing school, Nancy was employed by Reading Hospital, however for nearly 30 years, was employed by The Lutheran Home at Topton, providing dedicated care to their residents. Nancy was a former member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

Nancy is survived by her children, Debbie L. (Hausman) Fegely, Topton, Robert A., husband of Elsie K. (Wilson) Hausman, Deer Park, WA, Gary W. Hausman, partner of Patricia Antispel, Fleetwood, Gary L., husband of Roxanne (Neith) Hausman, Allentown, Thomas R., husband of Lynne (Wetzel) Hausman, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA and Mark D. Hausman, Fleetwood; eight grandchildren, Amy Beth (Hausman), wife of Bob Miller, Tara Lynn (Hausman), wife of Nick Shirk, Christopher M. Hausman, husband of Younok Ou, Ashley L. (Hausman), wife of Zach Christman, Jennifer M. (Hausman), wife of Addison Wooles, Jonathan M. Fegely, partner of Shannon Sicher, Alyssa L. (Fegely), wife of Mitch Kantner, and Kristen J. Fegely; and nine great-grandchildren, Drew Koller, Kylee Koller, Jackson Shirk, Jaxon Kantner, Wyatt Wooles, Ander Christman, Maeve Christman, Lilly Fegely and Robert Fegely.

A graveside service to celebrate and honor Nancy's life and burial will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA. A procession will depart from Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, promptly at 12:45 p.m.
