Myra A. Wortmann

Myra A. (Wolf) Wortmann, 62, of Kutztown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in her residence. She was the loving wife of James M. Wortmann whom she married on December 29, 1994.

Born in Manheim, Germany, Myra was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Erika A. (Geiser) Wolf. After moving to the United States, Myra attended Tulpehocken Area High School. She was employed as a Store Manager for several years by Peebles in Kutztown. She also worked as a waitress and daycare teacher for several years.

Myra loved the beach and enjoyed spending time at Rehobeth, DE. She also enjoyed the mountains in Potter County and watching TV with Jim. She exemplified the qualities of compassion, dedication, and resilience, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to thrive in the hearts of her family and friends.

Along with her husband Jim, Myra is survived by her two children, Jennifer L. (Dietrich), wife of Samuel G. Youse, Fleetwood, PA, and Jeffrey R., husband of Jennifer L. (Blank) Dietrich, Kutztown, PA; three grandchildren, Victoria M. Dietrich, Ella M. Youse and Robert J. Dietrich; and her brother, Hans Jurgen Geiser, Manheim, Germany.

Services for Myra will be held privately by her family.
