Miriam M. (Behm) Ohlinger, 84, of Rockland Township , died Sunday, July 27, 2014 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Forrest D. Ohlinger, who died March 18, 2001 .
Born in Rockland Township , she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Elsie H. (Rohrbach) Behm. Mrs. Ohlinger was employed by East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., Lyon Station, from 1980 until her retirement in 1992. Prior to that, she worked at the former Kato's Sportswear, Kutztown, for 13 years in the 1950's until 1967, and the former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, from 1967 to1980 .
She is survived by Daughters, Darlene F. (Ohlinger), wife of Lucas M. Torres, Mertztown, Marlene M. (Ohlinger), wife of Richard E. Leiby, Fleetwood, Debra A. (Ohlinger), wife of David G. Tyson, Lyon Station; Sister, Myrtle E. (Behm) Merkel, Mertztown; Brother, Samuel P. Behm, Kutztown. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; one Step Granddaughter; and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 Sisters, Mildred (Behm) Isamoyer and Verdie (Behm) Sanders; a Granddaughter, Angie L. (Isamoyer) Keller; and a Great Grandson, Dayton Leiby .
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Dr. Coleen G. Kristula officiating. Interment will follow in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. (Rockland Twp.) Relatives and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home .
Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
