Minnie M Schaeffer

Minnie M. Schaeffer, 81, of Valley View Court, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood, formerly of Lyon Station, died Saturday, January 8, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown, shortly after admission. She was married to the late Arthur W. Schaeffer who died August 15, 1995.

Born in Kempton, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and the late Clara Dries. She was employed for 5 years as a laborer at the former Wenton Shoe Company, Kutztown. She was a member of the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Lyon Station, and the Pike Township Sportsman’s Club. She was a member of New Jerusalem United Church of Christ Church, (Rockland Twp.) Fleetwood.

She is survived by Sons, LeRoy E. Schaeffer, Lyon Station, Michael C. Schaeffer, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood; Daughters, Barbara L. (Schaeffer) wife of Johnny R. Wyatt, Jr., (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood, Linda M. (Schaeffer) Yeager, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood, Brenda J. (Schaeffer) Day, (Richmond Twp.) Fleetwood; Sisters, Helen (Dries) Weidner, a resident at Evans Retirement Center, Fleetwood, Mabel (Dries) Landis, Kutztown, Mary (Dries) Wills, a resident at Beverly Manor Nursing Home, (Exeter Twp., Berks Co); 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Glenn M. Schaeffer and Randy L. Schaeffer.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, January 12, 2005, 10:30 AM from New Jerusalem United Church of Christ Church, 33 Lyons Road, (Rockland Twp.) Fleetwood. Interment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, (Rockland Twp.) Fleetwood. Friends may call Tuesday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
