Mildred R Delong

Mildred R. DeLong, 90, of Maxatawny Township, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Herman G. DeLong, Sr. who died on April 30, 1993.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Mabel K. (Heffner) Stern. She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

She is survived by Daughter, Doris M. DeLong, at home; Sons, Herman G. DeLong, Jr, Bowers, Richard J. DeLong, Lyon Station, Gene A. DeLong, Fleetwood, Dennis D. DeLong, Kutztown, Marvin P. DeLong, Reading, Martin C. DeLong, Mertztown; 19 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and a Great Grandson. She was predeceased by Son, Jimmy J. DeLong in 1970.

Graveside Services are Friday, October 30, 2009 at 1:30 PM in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, West Lawn Profession Plaza, Bldg. A., Suite 10, 25 Stevens Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
