Mildred C Brabnac

Mildred C. Brabnac, 99, of Topton, died Monday, March 26, 2012 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had been a resident since 1989. She was the widow of William T. Brabnac, who died November 25, 1997.

Born in Green Point, New York, she was a daughter of the late August and Katharine (Siebecker) Popke. Mrs. Brabnac was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a 1928 graduate of Richmond Hill High School, NY. She was a graduate of New York University, where she received her bachelor degree in education in 1932, and her Masters degree in education in 1938. Mrs. Brabnac was employed as an elementary school teacher at Union Free School #13, Valley Stream, NY for 34 years, retiring in 1967.

Funeral Services are Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:30 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. At Mrs. Brabnacs request, there is no viewing.
