Michele M Fitch

Michele M. Fitch, 57, of Kutztown, died Monday, February 21, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Keith O. Lapps. They were married on August 10, 2008.

Born in Enola, Cumberland County, PA she was a daughter of Jean (Snyder) Miller of Maryville, Perry County, PA and the late Edwin Miller. She was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School, Enola, and a 1976 graduate of Kutztown University, Kutztown, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She was a 7th and 8th grade English teacher in the Reading School District, Reading, retiring in June of 2009.

She is survived by Husband, Mother, Sister, Marilyn J. (Miller) wife of Albert McIlhenny, Coatsville; Brother, Mark E. Miller, Marysville; Nieces, Grace McIlhenny and Jessica Hughes and Nephew, Matthew Crocket. She was predeceased by a Sister, Martha J. (Miller) Rumig.

Memorial Services are Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), 350 E. Erie Avenue Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19134. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
