Michele Ann Mittner

Michele Ann Mittner, 36, of Greenwich Township, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.

Born in Erie, PA, she was the daughter of Gretchen M. (Besler) wife of Rodney D. Barrell, Kutztown, and the late Edward W. Mittner. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Church, Kutztown. Michele was a 1994 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and earned a Bachelor of Social Work from College Misericordia, Dallas, PA in 2004. She was employed by Signature Family Services, Blandon, for the past six months, last working April 13, 2012. Prior to that, she was an Aftercare Counselor for the Caron Foundation, Wernersville for 4 years and an Adolescent Counselor for Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Michele always found time to play with her son Ryan, anything from baseball and basketball to building Lego projects, and just simply going for walks together. She worked hard to be a kind and thoughtful person who would help anyone in need.

She is survived by Mother and Step-Father; Son, Ryan M. Tarreto, II, at home; Sister, Lindsay G. (Straub) wife of Micah J. George and Nephew, Dexter J. George, all of Mohrsville; Half-Brother, Michael Mittner, Erie, PA; Maternal Grandmother, Dolores (Wedzik) wife of Thomas Finch, Harborcreek, Erie Co., PA; Paternal Grandmother, Clara (Milina) Mittner, Erie, PA; Step Grandmother, Helen M. (Ketner) Barrell, Kutztown, and Step-Brothers, Kyle S., husband of Kelley (Zaffuto) Barrell, Kutztown and Michael D., husband of Karissa (Kutz) Barrell, Lansdale, Montgomery County. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held, Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 7:30 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Thursday, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
