Michael F. Cataldi

Michael F. "Fat Cat" Cataldi, 65, of Kutztown, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he was a patient one week.  Born in Reading, Michael was a son of the late Carmelo J. and Helen A. (Keller) Cataldi.

Michael was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown, Class of 1973.  Mike was employed over 20 years as a sewing machine mechanic by the former Keim Sewing Center, Wyomissing.  He also worked for Auger & Sons, Inc., Rochester, NH, in a similar capacity for over 15 years.

Michael enjoyed Muscle cars, driving his Plymouth Baracuda, and spending time with friends.  Mike was a member of Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown.

Michael is survived by a son: Christopher M. Cataldi, Florida; step sons, Michael P., husband of Julie A. (Bubbenmoyer) Keck, Lenhartsville; Joshua D. Keck, Bath; Nathanial A., husband of Kaitlin (Dietrich) Keck, Bernville; a step grandson, Connor L. Kunkle and many friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with The Reverend James Schlegel, officiating.  Interment in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.  Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing Friday, September 10, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
