Michael C Zettlemoyer

Michael C. Zettlemoyer, 58, of Maxatawny Township, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in his residence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Carl E. and Lucille J. (Zuberka) Zettlemoyer, Maxatawny Township. He was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Zions Union Church, Maxatawny. He was a 1973 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Zettlemoyer was a self-employed truck driver. Prior to that, he worked for Gorman Brothers Paving, Albany, NY and Miller Transfer and Rigging, Bloomsburg, PA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved the outdoors and especially his grandsons.

He is survived by Parents; Daughter, Stacey J. (Zettlemoyer) wife of Heath R. Fegely, Lenhartsville; Son, James, husband of Mellissa Mauch, Newel, SD; Sister, Sharon P. (Zettlemoyer) wife of Timothy L. Tyson, Jonestown, Lebanon County; Brother, Stephen E., husband of Pamela K. (Dieter) Zettlemoyer, Kutztown; Grandsons, Rowdy Mauch, Ivan R. and Dane C. Fegely.

Funeral Services are Friday, May 25, 2012 at 6:30 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call Friday, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions be made to Horizons Hospice, 309 E. Plank Road, Suite 100, Altoona, PA 16602-4111. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
