Mervin B. Zimmerman, age 5 years; 3 months; 8 days; son of Ammon H., Jr., and Jane N. (Burkholder) Zimmerman, died Saturday, April 27, 2024, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Allentown, Mervin was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Old Order Mennonites and attended Center Mennonite Church, Kutztown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by Sisters, Lydiann B., Suetta B., Marie B., Linda B., and Janet B. Zimmerman all at home; and Brothers, Marlin B., husband of Melissa S. (Hoover) Zimmerman, Mertztown; and Nathan B, Zimmerman, at home. Maternal Grandparents; Ivan S., husband of Lizzie Z. (Nolt) Burkholder, Ephrata; Paternal Grandparents, Erma Z. (Hoover) Zimmerman, widow of Ammon H., Zimmerman, Sr., Kutztown. There is also a niece, Delores H. Zimmerman. In addition to his Paternal Grandfather, Ammon, Mervin was predeceased by a brother Allen B. Zimmerman, who died January 5, 2015.
David N. Burkholder; Clair N. Burkholder; Alvin H. Zimmerman; and Elvin H. Zimmerman will serve as pall bearers.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Center Mennonite Church, 88 Deysher Road, Kutztown. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the late residence.
