Merville J Lambert

Merville J. “Bud” “Buddy” Lambert, 86, of Kutztown, died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Lebanon V.A. Medical Center, Lebanon, where he was a patient since Wednesday.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Joseph D. and Carrie M. (Angstadt) Lambert. Mr. Lambert was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown. He was a 1946 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, and attended Kutztown University. Mr. Lambert was a United States Navy veteran. He was employed as a truck driver by Reading Body Works, Reading, and was a former police officer for the Borough of Kutztown.

He is survived by Brother, Joseph J., husband of Jayne P. (Panetta) Lambert, Springfield, Delaware County. He was predeceased by Sisters, Leola (Lambert) Weidner, Marjorie (Lambert) Sterner, and Regina (Lambert) Sekella; and Brothers, Kenneth P. Lambert, M.D. and John W. Lambert.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend John W. Davies, officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Tuesday evening, March 31, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM both in the funeral home.
