Melba M Ream

Melba M. Ream, 83, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 in the Village at Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County. She was the wife of John G. Ream, Sr., Macungie. They were married on September 20, 1953.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ellen L. (Reichard) Hilbert. She was a member of New Jerusalem UCC Church, Fleetwood. She was an assembler in the mail department at Day-Timers, Inc., Allentown, for ten years retiring in 1992.

She is survived by Husband, Daughters, Gale J. (Ream) wife of Larry P. Miller, Alburtis, Brenda J. (Ream) wife of Lawrence P. Murin, Mt. Penn, Aleece A. (Ream) wife of Neven J. Dries, Hamburg; Sons, Dale J. Ream, Reading, Robert A. husband of Donna (Sokol) Ream, Kutztown, Donald J. husband of Amy (Smith) Ream, Lake Placid, NY, Noel D. Ream and Errol L. Moyer, both of Blandon; Sisters, Lois (Hilbert) Sanatoga, Pottstown, Jeannette (Hilbert) Grim and Rita (Hilbert) Gracely, Kutztown; Brothers, Richard E. Hilbert, Kutztown, Nevin S. Hilbert, Topton; 14 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by son John G. Ream, Jr. who died on November 15, 1999.

A Memorial Gathering is Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
