Ms. Meghan Kathleen Hutson

Meghan Kathleen Hutson, 40, of Topton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the Emergency Department of Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, after a sudden cardiac incident.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, Meghan was a daughter of Kathy Ann (Swift) Hutson of Topton, and the late Jeffrey C. Hutson, who died on May 12, 2015. She was a 1999 graduate of Whitehall High School, and worked as an insurance agent for The Hartford Group, Allentown, for several years. She was also a successful waitress while living in New Hampshire. Most recently, Meghan worked as a bartender at the Toad Creek Bar and Restaurant in Topton.

Meghan was an accomplished pool player and was a member of Blue Mountain American Pool Players Association (APA - Berks County). She also had a talent to crochet and knit. She selflessly donated dozens of crocheted breast form prosthesis to women in need post mastectomy. She also had a love for plants and nature. Above all, the love of her life were her two daughters, Maya and Lexi.

In addition to her mother, Kathy, Meghan is survived by her two daughters, Maya Emily Fleming, Allentown, and Lexi Grace Remmel, Lehighton; boyfriend, Dale E. Kramer; brother, Aaron M. Hutson, Reading; paternal grandmother, Kay G. (Braun) Hutson, Rio Rico, AZ; aunts and uncles, Donna (Hutson) and Kenneth Briggs, Rio Rico, AZ, Diane E. (Swift) Oakes, partner of Joseph Chame, Winchendon, MA, and Darrell W., and Cindy R. (Fossa) Swift, Haverhill, MA; along with several cousins and many friends.

In addition to her father, Meghan was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Maj. Donald R. Hutson, U.S. Air Force and F.A.A., Retired; maternal grandparents, Alton H. and Clarice V. (Horton) Swift; and an aunt, Marsha Eileen (Swift) Salter.

A Celebration of Life Tribute for Meghan will be held at a later date.
