May M Zimmerman

May M. Zimmerman, 91, formerly of College Garden Drive, Kutztown, PA and The Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where she was a patient since February 4, 2008. She was the wife of the late Marvin H. Zimmerman who died on June 30, 1992.

Born in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Ida T. (Oswald) Kerschner. She was an inspector at Allen Organ Company, Macungie, for 23 years retiring in 1978. She also helped her parents on their farm in Weisenberg Township for 25 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

She is survived by Stepsons, Curtis L. husband of Mary E. (Knittle) Zimmerman, Mertztown, Carl L. husband of Gloria J. (Kocher) Zimmerman, Topton; Step Daughter, Darlene M. (Zimmerman) wife of Irvin C. Fox, Kutztown; Brother, Dalton G. Kerschner, New Tripoli; 4 Step Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Stepson, Richard M. Zimmerman and Brother Lester L. Kerschner.

Funeral Services are Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 10:30 AM from Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Kutztown. Interment in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Grimville. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
