Mrs. MaryAlice Fox

MaryAlice (Knittle) Fox, 87, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the loving wife of Marlin R. Fox, whom she married on August 29, 1959.

Born in Allentown, MaryAlice was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Iva K. (Barto) Knittle. She was a 1955 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kutztown.

MaryAlice worked as a secretary for her father at the family business, Harry W. Knittle Farm Equipment, Kutztown, for many years. Most recently, MaryAlice was employed by the Kutztown Area School District working as a Cafeteria Worker and "Lunch Lady" at the Kutztown Jr. High / Middle School, where she retired after 17 years of service.

MaryAlice was a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader, loved tending to her flowers and enjoyed baking.

Along with her husband of nearly 65 years, Marlin, MaryAlice is survived by her three children, Allen R., husband of Shelly (Hartline) Fox, Fleetwood, Donna L. (Fox), wife of James Oswald, Hoover, AL, and Brian R., husband of Rebecca (Kemp) Fox, Shoemakersville; six grandchildren, Emily Fox, Kyle, husband of Aubrey (Hammond) Fox, Zebulun Oswald, Sara Marshall, Tanner Fox and Jaden Fox; and two great-grandchildren, Parker Ann and Reed Fox.

Services for MaryAlice will be held privately by her family.
