Mary V Weaknecht

Mary V. Weaknecht, 82, of Greenwich Twp., died Friday, April 15, 2011 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Weaknecht, who died July 9, 2002.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Francis A. and Luella K. (Kline) Sharadin. She was a 1946 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. She received an associate’s degree from the former Helen Moore-Hoffman Secretarial School, Reading. She was co-founder, secretary/treasurer of Weaknecht Archery, Kutztown. Prior to that, she was employed as a secretary by Prudential Insurance, at its former Kutztown office.

She is survived by Daughter, Reverend Sara A. (Weaknecht) wife of Gary J. Hertzog, Richmond Twp.; Sons, James W. husband of Julie A. (Konemann) Weaknecht, Greenwich Twp., Richard D. husband of Bonnie M. (Peters) Weaknecht, Greenwich Twp., Sheriff Eric J. husband of Jessica D. (Kerper) Weaknecht, Spring Twp.; Brother Richard Sharadin, Kutztown; 9 Grandchildren, Beth A. (Hertzog) wife of Jeremy Harbonic, Nathan E. husband of Charlene (Hauptman) Hertzog, Joshua O. Santos, Jamie W. Weaknecht, David G. Weaknecht, Nicole E. Weaknecht, Jodi A. Weaknecht, Emma R. Weaknecht, Emily M. Barrett; and 3 Great Grandchildren, SaraAnn K. Harbonic, Natalie V. Hertzog, Dylan H. Hertzog.

Graveside Services are Monday, April 18, 2011, at 11:30 AM in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. There is no viewing.
