Mary M. Carl

Mary M. (Geisinger) Carl, 98, formerly of Lyon Station, died on Monday, April 23, 2018 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township.  She was the widow of Prudens J. Carl, who died April 2, 2000.  Born in the Village of Dryville, Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth (Hilbert) Geisinger.  Mrs. Carl was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers. Mary was a homemaker.

Mary is survived by her Grandchildren, Virginia A. (Behm) wife of Brian K. Kleinsmith, Womelsdorf; Michael Eddy, Birdsboro; Lynn Eddy, Reading; and Jason Weir, Birdsboro.  There are also great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her daughters, Arlene R. (Carl) Behm, in 1997, and Linda M. (Carl) Wehr, in 2006.

A funeral service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown with her pastor, The Reverend Elizabeth A. Haines, officiating.  Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Fleetwood (Dryville). Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
