Mary Jane Williams

Mary Jane (Seidel) Williams, 81, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Kutztown, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in Geisinger Saint Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg, where she was a patient three days.  Mary Jane was the widow of Jack J. Williams who died April 29, 2016.  Born in Oley Township, she was a daughter of the late Mahlon Seidel and Dorothy A. (Reeser) Lorah.
Mary Jane was a member of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny.

Mary Jane was employed many years as a sewing Machine operator at the former Deisher Knitting Mill, Kutztown.  She also worked as a bartender at Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown.

Mary Jane was a member and treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary of Kutztown Fire Company; she was very involved with the Checkered Flag Fan Club; Mary Jane was a avid NASCAR fan; she also enjoyed reading, gardening and cleaning.

Mary Jane is survived by Debra K. (Youse), wife of Earl B. Weber, Blandon; Michael R., husband of Heidi L. (Weller) Youse, Reading; Cathy J. (Youse), widow of Perry J. Kramer, Kutztown; Barry C., husband of Denise L. (Bowers) Youse, New Ringgold; Tammie S. (Youse), wife of George R. Menard, Wilbraham, MA; Robin A. (Youse) Derose, Ventura, CA.  Other survivors include two sisters: Nancy M. (Seidel) widow of Donald Kirk, Gardnerville, NV; Ruth M. (Seidel), widow of Clarence Shaffer, Boyertown; and a brother, Robert E., husband of Kathy (Yeager) Seidel, Boyertown; There are sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by a brother, Vinton Seidel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
