Mary Jane Lynch

Mary Jane Lynch, 88, formerly of West Hartford, CT, and St. Justin’s Parish in Hartford’s Blue Hills, died peacefully Sunday, November 8, 2009 in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, PA. She was the widow of William J. Lynch who died August 29, 2007.

Born in New Britain, CT, she was a daughter of the late Carmen T. and Rose (Petrucelli) Menditto. She was a member of St. Helena Roman Catholic Church, West Hartford.

She is survived by Daughter, Kathleen M. Lynch, wife of Dennis D. DeLong, Kutztown, with whom she resided; Son, Timothy W. Lynch, husband of Dr. Cynthia J. Heller, New Rochelle, NY; Sister, Delores (Menditto) wife of William “Woody” Woodward and Brothers, Frederick “Fred” T. and Thomas Menditto all of New Britain, CT; Brothers in law, Robert, husband of Mary Alice Lynch, Cromwell, CT and Atty. Daniel E. Lynch, Sr., husband of Alice, West Hartford, CT. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren, Zachary DeLong, Jacob Lynch, Lauren Lynch, Kourtney Shafer and Miranda Shafer; and many adored cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM from St. Helena’s Roman Catholic Church, 30 Echo Lane, West Hartford, CT. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Britain, CT. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051.
