Mary E J Hoffman

Mary E. J. (Kramer) Hoffman, 82, of Kutztown, died Monday, January 25, 2016, in Arden Courts, Allentown, where she was a guest for six years. She was the wife of Harold C. Hoffman, whom she married October 23, 1954.

Born in Greenwich Township, she was a daughter of the late Jonathan J. and Louisa J. (Grim) Kramer. She was a member of New Jerusalem Zion United Church of Christ, Lenhartsville. Mrs. Hoffman worked at several manufacturing firms in the area, lastly, at Garden State Tanning, Fleetwood, as a leather tanner, until her retirement.

She is survived by Husband of 61 years, Harold C. Hoffman; Daughters, Linda L. (Hoffman), wife of William Sollenberger, Warfordsburg, Fulton County, PA; and Barbara K. (Hoffman), wife of Barry Kline, Kutztown; Sons, Barry S. Hoffman, companion of Sandra Daniels, Kempton; and Timothy H. Hoffman, Georgia. Other survivors include 7 Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Step Great Grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by Sisters, Pearl Snyder, Arlene Smith, Lovie Schwoyer and Pauline Dautrich; Brothers, Raymond, Lester, Robert, Irwin, Nevin and LeRoy Kramer; and a Great Granddaughter, Nina Kline.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Pastor Tammie J. Wisniewski, officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Greenwich Township. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
