Mary E House

Mary E. House, age 80, of 534 Marshall Ave., Topton, formerly of Baltimore, Md., and Las Cruces, N.M., died Thursday, September 18, 2003, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. She was married to Albert W. House for 57 years this month.

Born in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Catherine T. (Paff) Wise. She was a chemist for Baltimore Biological Co. for eight years and previously for the former Standard Oil Co., Baltimore, for six years. She also was a cashier for Acme Food Stores, Baltimore, for eight years. She received a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Mount St. Agnes College, Baltimore. She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, (Richmond Twp.), Kutztown, PA.

She is survived by Husband; Daughter, Mary Katherine Henry, with whom she resided; Sisters, Jean S. Green of Baltimore, Patricia A. Wier of Sour Lake, Texas; 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Jones.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 23, 2003, 10:00 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, (Richmond Twp.) Kutztown. Inurnment in The Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the church.
