Mary Jane Dietrich

Mary Jane (Bradley) Dietrich, 94, of Kutztown, died peacefully, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Willow Brook Nursing and Rehabilitation, Kutztown. She was the widow of Arlan H. Dietrich, who died June 9, 1998. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Mary Jane was a daughter of the late John and Mary G. (Isdell) Bradley.

Mary Jane was employed as a cook and clerk for Mark's Sandwich Shop, Kutztown, for over 25 years.

Mary Jane was a proud supporter of the Kutztown Community Library, where she graciously shared her time and talent running the used book room for many years, raising thousands of dollars to support the many important projects offered by the library. The used book room was named in her honor.

Mary Jane also enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching PBS movies and cooking shows.

She is survived by eight children; three daughters: Ann L. Dietrich, Kutztown; Karen L. Dietrich, Kutztown; Elizabeth L. (Dietrich), wife of David J. Fegely, Kutztown; sons: Michael A. Dietrich, husband of Catherine Jones, Kutztown; John E., husband of Joan E. (Dietrich) Dietrich, Kutztown; Jeffrey T. Dietrich, Kutztown; Richard A. Dietrich, Kutztown; and Scott P. Dietrich, Allentown. Other survivors include two sisters: Catherine S. (Bradley) Manning, Kennett Square, Chester County; and Elizabeth A. (Bradley) Funk, Warminster, Bucks County. There are also thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Arlan, Mary Jane was predeceased by a brother, John Patrick (Pat) Bradley, husband of Geri Bradley of Bear, DE.

A private graveside service to honor and celebrate Mary Jane's life will be held in Dunkel's Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no public viewing or calling hours.
