Mary C Heffner

Mary C. Heffner, 88, of South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown, died Thursday, May 13, 2004, at the In-Patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17 ^th & Chew Streets, Allentown, where she was a patient since May 7, 2004. She was married to the late Claude D. Heffner, who died April 16, 2000.

Born in Reading, PA, she was a daughter of the late George L. and the late Laura K. (Sanders) Rahn. During the 1920’s she was employed at her parents restaurant (Former Rahn’s Family Restaurant), Kutztown. She then was a homemaker. She was a graduate of McCann’s School of Business, Reading. She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ, Kutztown.

She is survived by Sons, C. David Heffner, (Greenwich Twp.) Lenhartsville, PA, Jay B. Heffner, Shoemakersville, PA; Sisters, Blanche A. (Rahn) Musser, Emmaus, Lehigh County, Edna L. (Rahn) Mertz, Middletown, Dauphin County, PA; a Granddaughter.

Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family. Private Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville (Rockland Twp.). There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
