Mary Alice Smith

Mary Alice Smith, age 70, of Topton PA, formerly of 16 W. Franklin Street, Topton PA, died Tuesday, September 25, 2001 in the Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in Topton PA, she was the Daughter of the late Howard J. and Marie A. (Behringer) Trexler. She was a Member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a Sewing Machine Operator for the former US Seating Company, Topton, for 22 years and the Fleetwood Shirt Company, Fleetwood, for 6 years until retiring in 1993.

She is survived by her Sons, Gerald L. Smith of St. Charles MO and Alan G. Smith of Harrisburg PA; Daughter, Pearl M. (Smith) Levengood of Mertztown PA; Sisters; Betty J. (Trexler) Hoffmaster of Mertztown PA, Shirley E. (Trexler) Phillips of Fleetwood PA, Edna M. (Trexler) Stump of Pine Grove PA, anna L. (Trexler) Kocher of Fleetwood PA and Rose M. (Trexler) Kocher of Strausstown PA; 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, September 28th in the Chapel of Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Family and Friends may Call 9:00 - 10:30 AM until the time of Services. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton.
