Martha W Ringler

Martha W. Ringler, 88, of East Earl Township, Lancaster County, died Friday, October 15, 2010, in the home of her son, John M. Brubaker, Maxatawny Township, Berks County. She was the wife of Samuel K. Ringler whom she married March 5, 1998. Her first husband, Benjamin H. Brubaker died June 22, 1991.

Born in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Henry N. and Mary W. (Weaver) Martin. She was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Mennonites and attended the Spring Grove Mennonite Church, Lancaster County.

(Martin) Brubaker, Hamburg; Daughters, Esther M. (Brubaker) wife of Leon Z. Shirk, Withee, Wis. and Anna M. (Brubaker) wife of Alvin L. Hoover, Curtiss, Wis.; Step Sons, Noah S. husband of Kathryn H. (Stauffer) Ringler, Terre Hill, Ivan S. husband of Irene W. (Martin) Ringler, Narvon, Aaron S. husband of Brenda Ringler, Lititz, Roy S. husband of Miriam M. (Weaver) Ringler, Goshen, Ind. and Samuel S. husband of Eileen (Benner) Ringler, Narvon; Step Daughters, Naomi S. (Ringler) wife of Ivan M. Zeiset, East Earl, Eva S. (Ringler) wife of Paul M. Brubaker, East Earl, Verna S. (Ringler) wife of Marvin M. Martin, Goshen, Ind., Sue Etta S. (Ringler) wife of Earl H. Stauffer, New Holland and Elsie Marie S. (Ringler) wife of Mark K. Weaver, New Paris, Ind. Other survivors include Brothers, David W. husband of Lizzie H. (Rissler) Martin, Narvon, Ivan W. husband of Ruth M. (Zimmerman) Martin, East Earl and Levi W. husband of Anna G. (Reiff) Martin, New Holland. There are 83 Grandchildren and 168 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Ben; Daughters, Ida M. Brubaker and Nora M. (Brubaker) Nolt; son-in-law Luke H. Nolt; 2 infant daughters; Grandson, Harvey B. Nolt; Sister, Mary W. (Martin) Wenger and Brothers, Amos W. Martin and Weaver W. Martin.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 9:00 AM from her son, John M. Brubaker’s residence, 721 Siegfriedale Road, Maxatawny Township, with services continuing at Center Mennonite Church at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Center Mennonite Church Cemetery, Kutztown. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM in her son, John’s residence. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
