Martha Frey

Martha I. (Frederick) Frey, 83, formerly of Fleetwood, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown, where she was a resident since August, 2024. She was the widow of Ronald C. "Stringy" Frey, who died December 2, 2008.

Born in Sellersville, Bucks County, PA, Martha was a daughter of the late George A. and Mary E. (Benner) Frederick and was a 1959 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Martha was employed by the former Wenton Shoe Factory in Kutztown and most recently, as a Custodian at Kutztown University, for many years until her retirement.

Martha is survived by her two sons, Larry R., husband of Deborah (Geist) Frey, Kutztown, and Chris R., husband of Jodie (Miller) Frey, Fleetwood; grandson, Adam M., husband of April (Mosser) Frey, Tamaqua; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Norah Frey; and siblings, Linda (Frederick) Reinert, Fleetwood, George Frederick, Fleetwood, Steve Frederick, Pennsylvania and Michael J. Frederick, Severn, MD.

Services for Martha and burial in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown, PA, will be held privately by her family.
