Martha D Garber

Martha D. Garber, 102, formerly of Kutztown died Monday, December 20, 2010 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late John N. Garber who died in May of 1985.

Born in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, PA she was a daughter of the late Omar B. and Bessie (Means) Depp. She attended Oberlin College, Columbus, OH and graduated from Pennsylvania State College, State College, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music.

She is survived by Son, John D. husband of Annjanette (Greenleaf) Garber, Centerville, OH; Daughter, Jane G. (Garber) wife of Paul W. Hague, Mertztown, 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Sons, John Noel and Jeffrey L. Garber and Brother, Lex Depp.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011 at 2:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room, the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton.
