Marlene L Sabo

Marlene L. (Belair) Sabo, 77, of Rockland Township, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, in her home. She was the widow of Donald L. Sabo who died April 3, 2007.

Born in Buffalo, NY, she was a daughter of the late Ralph W. and Louise (Gemarek) Belair. She attended Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, Emmaus, PA. Mrs. Sabo was a graduate of Bryan & Stratton Secretarial School, Buffalo, NY. She went on to work as a secretary for Republic Steel, Buffalo, for many years.  Marlene then worked until her retirement in 2003, for Christ Community Church, Mechanicsburg. She also served as a Girl Scout leader.

She is survived by Daughters, Michelle M. (DeLano) Joynt, Mechanicsburg, and Denise D. (DeLano) wife of Nicholas B. Rogers, with whom she resided; Step Sons, Donald L. Sabo, Jr., and William Sabo, both of Buffalo, NY.  Other survivors include 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Marlene was predeceased by a Brother, Paul Belair.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Roland Hammett, officiating. Interment in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. There is no public viewing.

The family requests contributions be made to the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, 4702 Colebrook Avenue, Emmaus, PA 18049. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
