Marion H Stewart

Marion H. Stewart, 85, of Macungie, formerly of Mertztown, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 in the residence of her son, James, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was the widow of Albert G. Stewart who died June 22, 2009.

Born in Wyalusing, PA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert L. and Elizabeth H. (Barnhart) Kunkle. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mertztown where she was a member of social ministries, church council, and the alter circle. Marion was a homemaker.

She is survived by Son, James A. husband of Ruth F. (Peischler) Stewart, Macungie; Daughter, Diane H. (Stewart) wife of Thomas M. Bloxham, Oak Ridge, NC, Connie E. (Deppe) Stewart; Sisters, Doris (Kunkle) Shafer, Wyalusing, PA, Veda (Kunkle) Woodruff, Wyalusing, PA., and Vera (Kunkle) Dean, Mesquite, TX. She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, Karen wife of Brian Ritter, Keith husband of Renee Stewart, and 4 Great Grandchildren, Benjamin and Aidan Ritter, Ella and Austin Stewart.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00 AM from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown, PA 19539. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 50, Mertztown, PA 19539. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
