Marilyn A Bortz

Marilyn A. Bortz, 73, of Lake Wallenpaupack, Palmyra Township, PA died Monday, October 5, 2009 in the in-patient hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. She was the wife of Douglas K. Bortz. They were married 53 years.

Born in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Hilda E. (Weber) Moyer. Mrs. Bortz was employed as a key punch operator for Mack Trucks, Inc., Allentown, for 28 years retiring in 1991.

She is survived by Husband. Daughter, Donna M. (Bortz) husband of Robert E. Lehr, Jr., Zionsville; Son, Douglas K. Jr., husband of Kimberlie L. (Longenbach) Bortz, Kutztown; Sister, Dorothy M., widow of Richard P. Kehnel, Allentown. There are 6 Grandchildren, Jeffrey R. and Matthew R. Lehr, Brittany L., Andrew D., Kelsie A., and Jack A. Bortz.

Memorial Services are Friday, October 9, 2009, at 11:00 AM in Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown, PA. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 South 12 ^th Street, Allentown, PA 18103 or American Cancer Society, 3893 Alder Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
