Marie E Kerchner

Marie E. Kerchner, 82, of East Hunter Street. Lyons, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, near Allentown, where she was a patient since February 9, 2007.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester D. and the late Carrie M. (Rahn) Sarig. She was a 1942 graduate of Kutztown High School. She was a representative for Avon from 1964 until the present. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers.

She is survived by Daughters, Brenda M. (Kerchner) wife of Donald G. Batz, Topton, Carol A. (Kerchner) widow of William C. DeLong, Lyons. In addition she is survived by 4 Grandchildren, Daniel D. Batz, David D. Batz, Billy J. DeLong, Lori A. DeLong; 5 Great Grandchildren, Alexis R. Batz, Briahna R. Batz, Cassandra M. Batz, Rebecca J. Batz, and April M. DeLong. She was predeceased by two Sons, Norman E., Jr. in 1947 and David in 1948; a Daughter, Sue Ellen in 1952. She was also predeceased by Sisters, Virginia Sarig, Julia Sarig and Shirley M. (Sarig) Follweiler.

Funeral Services are Friday, February 16, 2007, 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Lyons Cemetery, Maxatawny Township. Friends may call Thursday, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Friday, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 550 Fleetwood Road, Bowers, 19511. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
