Marie E Boyer

Marie E. (Merkle) Boyer, 89, of Mertztown, died Friday, December 26, 2014, in her home. She was the widow of William L. Boyer who died November 1, 1975 .

Born in Breinigsville, she was a daughter of the late Milton H and Lillian M. (Smith) Merkle. Mrs. Boyer worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Kutztown Sportswear and former Keith Knitting Mill .

She is survived by Daughter, Grace M. Boyer, at home; Sons, Gerald W. Boyer, Bethlehem, Charles M. Boyer and Blair T. Boyer, both of Mertztown. Other survivors include a Brother, Kenneth E. Merkle, Neffs, PA. There are also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren .

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating. Interment will follow in Friedens Cemetery, Stony Run. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home .
