Marian E Rohrbach

Marian E. Rohrbach, 97, formerly of East Smith Street, Topton, died Monday, June 22, 2009 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late John E. Rohrbach, Sr., who died on March 21, 1980.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Estella (Fenstermacher) Master. She was a member of Longswamp UCC Church, Mertztown. She graduated from Kutztown High School in 1928 and Kutztown Normal School, now Kutztown University, in 1930. In 1931 Mrs. Rohrbach was a teacher in the Longswamp School District. She was a member of the former Topton Women’s Club.

She is survived by Son, John E. Rohrbach, Jr., Mertztown, and Daughter-in-law, Marcia Rohrbach, Kutztown. She was predeceased by Son, Timothy N. Rohrbach on June 3, 2007 and Daughter-in-law, Patricia Rohrbach on February 9, 1998. She is survived by Grandchildren, Kurt, Chet, Kelly and Lisa Rohrbach; and, Great Grandchildren, Stephanie Rohrbach, Tate and Bryce Hutchinson and Alia Taylor.

Funeral Services are Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:30 AM in Longswamp UCC Church, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
