Margaret S Bortz

Margaret S. Bortz, 95, of Kutztown, died Thursday, December 7, 2012 in ManorCare Nursing Home, Laureldale. She was the wife of Paul H. Bortz, whom she married August 31, 1940.

Born in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late Jeremiah B. and Sallie S. (Schaeffer) Stahler. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She was self-employed as a cleaning lady, working in private homes for fifteen years. She was also a member of the Sunshine Society.

Her husband is her only immediate survivor. She was predeceased by three brothers.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, December 11, 2012, 10:30 AM from New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, 19522. Interment in New Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
