Margaret P. Johnson

Margaret P. (Gadonniex) Johnson, 78, of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of Kutztown, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, in her residence.  She was the widow of Robert Herman Stewart, who died January 1, 2013, while vacationing in North Carolina.  Margaret was born January 4, 1945, in Yonkers, New York to Harold J. and Mary J. (Ruffalo) Gadonniex.

A people person, Margaret, enjoyed helping others by taking care of their yards, watching their homes while they were away, and caring for their pets.  Marge was a three-time survivor of cancer.  She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially Canoa Ranch Lake, watching the Egrets, Herring and Humming Birds were her favorite.  Margaret loved all animals, large and small.  She enjoyed watching movies in the afternoon and loved driving her golf cart around the Pueblo Estates Community in Green Valley.

Margaret is survived by three daughters:  Regina Johnson, with whom she resided; Marie Johnson, Green Valley, AZ; Lisa Johnson, New Bern, NC.  Other survivors include grandchildren: Theresa Jeske, Clearwater, ID; Tabetha Avery, New Bern, NC; Billy Bossler, DE; Allison Wanner, Oley, PA; Jessica Rohrbach, Fleetwood, PA; Kayla Rohrbach Deleme, Reading; and great grandchildren: Baylee and Kinslee Jeske both of Clearwater, ID. Abel Avery, New Bern, NC; Michael Rohrbach, Fleetwood; and Remi Rohrbach, Fleetwood.  The are many nieces and nephews across the United States.  In addition, to her husband, Bob, Margaret was predeceased by a son, Cliff J. Johnson who died August 3, 2003; and an infant daughter Mary Jane Elizabeth, who died shortly after birth.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate and Honor Margaret's Life will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Pueble Estates Clubhouse, 145 W. Aliso, Drive, Green Valley, AZ 85614.  Margaret will be laid to rest on her family plot in Yonkers, New York.
